I like to experiment with different grip styles and materials; if you have something in mind, let me know and we'll see if it can be done.
Had a customer decide that he wanted to see what it would feel like to have grips with a thumb rest and swell for a RAMI. So he took a set of plastic compact grips and trimmed, sanded, and added a little expoxy until it fit what he had in mind. Then he sent them to me and I replicated them in wood and micarta. The dimensions are similar to factory P-01 and SP-01 grips for thickness overall. I really like how it helps secure my grip as I use a two fingered grip on my RAMI.
Have a customer than likes to use his RAMI in IDPA and was looking for some grips that would have a lot of traction. I found some "coarse" micarta in ODG that when I peeled off the protective layer I found it was a small diamond checking. I made a couple of basic prototypes, one thicker and one thinner. While the checkering pattern isn't very deep; it proves great traction for grip with out snagging on clothes.
